Implemented Projects
2023: Drinking water from a new well!
Children from the Rameshorpur village school drink water from a new borehole! From a depth of 67 metres, a submersible pump provides high quality, arsenic- and iron-free water to 50 children and 70 families in the village. This is a beautiful example of community togetherness.
2023: Roof repairs
"It's not raining here anymore!" the children rejoice. And where is it not raining? In the classrooms of two village schools in southern Bangladesh. And why is that? Because both schools, Murogasha and Kashinmagor, have had their roofs repaired!
2023: New pump
We plant, we water, we grow, and then we eat. That's the motto of the children at the Jalchatra boarding school in northern Bangladesh. Here we have installed a new pump to irrigate the school. There's nothing like fresh bananas and healthy vegetables from your own garden. Local, seasonal, organic :)
2023: 50 fans
Thanks to you, 50 new fans have been installed at KMMS boarding school. They hum a little, but they're nice and quiet. They will refresh the students at school on hot days and at night in the dormitory. Their breeze will improve sleep and grades :)
Fans are still needed. You can continue to contribute here.
2022: Drying and laundry room
The drying and laundry room on the roof of the girls' dormitory of the SAMS boarding school is completed! 400 girls have enough privacy and space to wash and dry their clothes. The strength of the sun and wind will help them to ensure that they will always look pretty great.
2022: Ganga Expedition
Among the extraordinary activities in 2022 belongs the charity project Expedition Ganga. In October, together with Olympic and multiple world champion in water slalom Vavřinec "Vávra" Hradilek, we travelled 121 km by water to help 121 Bangladeshi children from our sister project Chalantika.
2022: Kitchen in Ambari
The kitchen of Ambari village school in the south of Bangladesh is brand new! The cook has everything on hand. A double raised clay oven, plenty of space and a roof over her head to prepare meals in times of blue skies and dark rain clouds. We wish the children a good appetite.
