2019: Bridge to the school in Ambari

A new wooden bridge in front of the Ambari school replaced the old bamboo one. It will help children safely conquer the last canal on their way to school.  This is a necessary aid in an area where almost everything is underwater nine months a year. We thank the donors for their financial contribution and wish the children a firm step on their educational path.

In the pictures below you can compare it with the old narrow bamboo bridge near the Ambari school, which served the children for a long time. For its overcoming, it took a great deal of courage, dexterity in the rainy months and caution. Today, thanks to donors, children in Ambari have a beautiful, safe and wide wooden bridge!
