Hello! My name is Amos Strong Bawm, and I am 7 years old. I live in Darjeeling Para with my mom, Biak Zing, and my dad, Thliar Thawn. I’m in Grade One at Jalchatra Adventist Seminary & School, and I’m enjoying my first experience in a school hostel. It’s a new adventure for me, and I love the school environment. I’ve made lots of friends already, and I attend my classes regularly and do my homework with care. My favorite subject is drawing—I love using my pencil to create pictures! In my free time, I enjoy playing football and cricket with my friends, and my favorite color is red. I also love watching television and wandering around with my friends. My favorite foods are vegetables and chicken, and I’m always excited when they’re on the menu! Although my parents work as day laborers, we don’t have extra income from things like farming or animals.
