A willing donor has the opportunity to bring light and hope into the life of 10-year-old Ja Sing Thowi. The boy comes from a poor farming family and has now entered the KMMS boarding school. He is now in Grade 5, but if he receives support, he can stay for another seven years and receive a full secondary education (students can sit the HSC exam, the matriculation exam, at the end of Grade 12). Ja Sing is focused, takes an active interest in his studies, and does well in and out of school. He has managed to make friends and gain the popularity of his teachers. His favourite subject is English, and in his spare time he enjoys painting and spending time with his friends. After his studies, he would like to become a teacher.
